Scrapbooking Sketches July 09

Time to take another look at some of the newest scrapbooking sketches on offer in July 2009:

  • Pencil Lines has Sketch #141 by Anna Bowkis, a fabulous circular sketch with space for one portait photo.
  • My Sketch World presents their July 09 Sketch. This one's a double page sketch with space for 6 smaller photos and 1 large portrait photo.
  • Sketch This provides Sketch #88 with space for one landscape photo.
  • Pink Sketches feature Sketch #37 also for one landscape photo.
  • So Sketchy has a July 09 Layout Sketch (a single photo sketch) and a July 09 Card Sketch.
  • 2 Sketches 4 You supplies Laura's Sketch #29 a simple little card sketch.
  • I really love Sketch #25 from Inspired Blueprints which provides space for two photos. I think it has to be my favourite amongst this month's fabulous sketches.

  • Scrapbooking Sketches and Life Oh My! offers a gorgeous 8.5x11single photo sketch (Sketch #63), it could no doubt double as a card sketch as well.
  •  Twisted Sketches has Sketch #004 featuring space for one portrait oriented photo.
  • Creative Scrappers gives us Sketch #58 with allowance for three landscape oriented photos.
  • Newcomer sketch blog Capture These Sketches has this July 09 Sketch with space for three square photos.

CHA Summer 2009 Update #2

Another day, and yet more CHA Summer 2009 sneak peeks to pore over....

  • American Crafts features a nature inspired line called Blue Skies. Check out Clear Stamps, Foam Thickers and Fabric Thickers from the line and also some Flair Adhesive Badges here.
  • My Mind's Eye shows off more of their Abbey Road collection including Round And Round and Stomp. View them both here. In addition, there's Halloween and Christmas ranges including Boo To You, Spider's Web, Colorful Christmas and The Merry Days Of Christmas. See them here.
  • Jillibean Soup features a new collection, aptly named Alphabet Soup. See it here.
  • Prima lets us see some of their new products including Evelyn Flowers (pictured below), Raja Centers, Holidays Glitter Sprays, Vintage Sprites, Bright Sprites, The Tropics Paper Collection, Animal Bash Paper Collection. Phew! View it all here.
  • Hambly Screen Prints (not specifically CHA related but...) has some new sticker designs. See them here on the blog, or here on the website.

Kaisercraft Enter The Digital Realm

Fabulous news for digital scrappers! Kaisercraft has entered digital scrapbooking realm with the launch of Kaisercraft Digital.To celebrate the launch, Kaisercraft are releasing their first ever digital kit for FREE. 

The Tag This kit is available for free download from today! Kaisercraft describes the kit as...

"A funky and bright range, this digital collection includes papers, brushes, elements and lots more to add to your digital scrap stash, or is an easy way to dive head first into the world of digi scrapping!"

Kaisercraft's new digital products will be available for puchase from their online store as of  31st July 2009. Initally, there'll be six digital collections available including two product collections from their existing lines (now available in digital form) and also four new exclusively digital collections.

On another note, if you'd like to be published in Kaisercraft's Q2 Magazine, scrap a layout (digital or hybrid) using the Tag This kit and upload it to their Digital Gallery by 14th July 2009 to be in the running.

I'm in the process of downloading the new kit as I type...are you? :)

Kaisercraft Release Six New Collections

Here at Aussie Scrapbooking, we absolutely LOVE to support local businesses, so we're especially excited this morning about the news that Aussie scrapbooking manufacturer, Kaisercraft, has released six new lines and eleven beyond-the-page products in its Q1 launch. Each of the six lines includes six double-sided papers and a variety of embellishments including alpha stickers, die cuts, rub-ons, embroidered badges and an epoxy brad pack to match.

Kaisercraft also announced that they have moved to a quartely release cycle instead of monthly one. In addition, Kaisercraft has improved their product packaging - products will now be available in clear, re-usable ‘zip-lock’ bags in a variety of sizes including A5, A6 and DL. Kaisercraft say the  zip-lock bags will fit into standard ring binders for easier storage.

My Mind's Eye's New Blog

Just in case it's escaped your notice, manufacturer My Mind's Eye has a brand shiny new blog (just in time for CHA no doubt).

You can check it out here. As predicted, they have a CHA preview of their new Abbey Road collection. For example, this one's part of the Whirlybird range...

Jillibean Soup CHA Stamp Sneak

Jillibean Soup show off some new  projects, and if you look closely enough, you might see use of their new stamps debuting shortly at the CHA Summer 2009 trade show. The following card project was created by Linda Harrison. The "Bean Stamps" in use include Sending Thoughts, Calendar and Discover. See if you can spot them...

The other projects are worth taking a look at also - there's some pinwheels, a Father's day card and also birthday themed gift book. Check them all out here.

CHA Summer 2009 Sneaks Update

Here's a quick update of the CHA Summer 2009 sneak peeks that have surfaced over the past day or so...

  • My Little Shoebox - shows off six new designs including Robots Unplugged, Sky's The Limit, In Bloom, Little Lady, Whoo Loves You? and Imagine A Forest. See them all here.
  • Hambly Screen Prints - apparently there's some new clear stickers from Hambly, if you can spot them in the photo that is! 
  • New designer Nikki Sivils features two of the six new lines she will debuting called Victoria's Street and My Sweet Cherry Pie.
  • Tattered Angels - show us some projects using some of their nature themed Chip Tiles.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any other peeks being released. :)
