The Challenge Of Multiple Photos

Sue Madex

Snap, snap, snap, snap – I never take just one photo! Do you?? And what makes my photo pile even larger is that I’m not very decisive when it comes to selecting my favourites to get printed. “I really like this one, and this one, OK and this one. Maybe this one too.” I always have trouble narrowing it down and end up with a bunch of snaps that look quite similar. Sound familiar??

Sometimes I manage to pick my favourite photo to be the focus for a layout...

...and sometimes I just go ahead and plonk the whole lot on! (Read on...)

Using a bunch of photos is always a bit of a creative challenge.

Don’t you find there are times though when a series of photos seems to tell the story and capture the mood of the moment a little better than a single shot or two? Kids absorbed in their play is always a favourite multi-photo subject for me.

I do like the challenge of seeing how many photos I can squeeze onto a page sometimes as I sit at my desk with a huge pile of prints fresh from Harvey Norman threatening to topple over and take me out!

In my quest to get my photo pile down I sometimes leave no room for anything else. I wonder, can I call it scrapbooking if my page has no title, journaling or embellishments?? Hmmm.

I wonder now, what is the most number of snaps you’ve ever managed to shoehorn onto a 12 x 12 layout??

Cheers, Sue

I did a double page and I managed to put 17 between the two! I could have fitted a few more too but needed to have some journalling and also a title! I added buttons between the photo's to add alittle something!
