Thankful - Melissa Frances

Sarah Schwerin

I recently attended the Scrapbooking Memories Canon Pixa Party, and was lucky enough to do a mini album class with the one and only Melissa Frances, who had flown in from Canada for the event.

We used her new line of papers and stickers called "Thankful" that she created during her recent battle with Breast Cancer.

(Read on...)

It is such a lovely, pretty, girlie, shabby chic range that is sure to start you begging your favourite scrapbook store to get them in! Melissa has also designed extra stickers to go with the line, that deal specifically with Breast Cancer, so that if you, or someone you know is fighting Breast Cancer, you can create pages or mini books about your thoughts, fears, triumphs, emotions, and even your new 'do'!

Melissa also donates a percentage of the sales of this line to Breast Cancer Research.

The Melissa Frances website is well worth a look - lots of product info and eye candy! You should also check out the Melissa Frances Blog - you'll find an abundance of gorgeous projects by the very talented design team, as well as news about new products releases and competitions.

I was lucky enough to meet Melissa after the party - she is such a lovely, friendly person, and I am truly thankful that I had the chance to meet her.

You can read about Melissa's battle with Breast Cancer in Vol 10 No 7 of Scrapbooking Memories, page 43. A truly inspirational read. Then flick to page 107 to see what the talented Scrapbooking Memories Masters did with Melissa's "Thankful" Range.
