Gosh I hadn’t realised how long it’s been since I’ve done a scrapbooking tutorial round-up. Oops! So much to do, so little time. Here’s some of the tutorials I’ve discovered over the past week:
- Scrapbook Trends features a tutorial on turning a scalloped circle into a dimensional flower.
- Creating Keepsakes has a interesting post giving tips on boosting your layouts. Tips include “use grids”, “draw straight lines”, “create borders”, “add motion” and “break the lines”.
- The Hybrid Chick shows us how to make an envelope clutch (pictured).
- Over at I Like Markers you’ll find a quick tutorial on drawing your own doodle balloons with Copic markers. Very cute!
- Donna Downey shows us what’s she’s currently doing in her inspiration journal. Whilst not a specific tutorial, it’s fun to watch her work. If you’ve never used paint in scrapbooking before, this vision gives you a good insight. (Warning: the video’s about 10 minutes long.)
- Stephanie Barnard shows us how she organises her embellishments. (Good to know there’s someone else besides myself who’s not that organised!) Oh and it’s a video demonstration too. Running time: 4 min 58 sec.
- Susan Stringfellow has a quick tip on making embossed borders. She uses a Quickutz handle with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Excellent idea!
Ah I feel better for purging those links. I hope some of them are useful.
