Today we’ve officially entered the “silly season”. I love this time of year, well only because I’ve got a fair bit of my Christmas shopping done already. I’m going to sit back now and enjoy the lead up to Christmas. Speaking of enjoying the season, let’s have a look around in the land of scrapbooking manufacturers to see what they’re up to…
- Pink Paislee has some 3D style paper mache star ornaments and also a Saturday Sketch if you’d like to get some scrapping done.
- Maya Road features truly awe inspiring chipboard clad Christmas trees (pictured). Truly amazing work! These would make spectacular table centrepieces, don’t you think?
- Seven Gypsies offers up a fabulous Christmas project – a wish list & receipts book made from paper bags.
- Bo Bunny are holding Christmas in November, presenting a number of Christmas projects including a winter plaque, Xmas gift set, advent envelope book, ribbon spool tree and Xmas gift bag. The ribbon spool tree is my favourite.
- SEI features an amazing Christmas decoration made from rolls of patterned paper. Very eye-catching!
- Jenni Bowlin Studios has some glittering Christmas ornaments.
- Marks Paper Co shares a photo card tutorial during their 12 Days Of Christmas feature.
- Zutter features an intriguing Swedish Christmas star ornament (you’d probably need a Bind It All to replicate this project however.)
In other news:
- Bazzill Basics reveal they will be releasing 38 new colours for 2010 at the upcoming CHA trade show. Can’t wait to see those.
- Reminisce is looking for a new design team for 2010 – details here. Submission deadline 20th Dec 2009.
- Shimmerz Paints has a call out for new design team members – details here. Submission deadline 28th Dec 2009.
- Simply Renee (makers of the Clip It Up storage rack) is also on the hunt for a new design team – details here. Submission deadline 15th Dec 2009.
I wish you all luck with getting your Christmas errands done with as little stress as possible!
