I can’t believe it’s been nearly three weeks since I last took a look at some of the scrapbooking tutorials available! Here’s what I’ve turned up recently:
- Anyone remember when mesh was hot hot hot in the scrapbooking industry (or am I showing my age here?) These days it’s almost forgotten…apart from this little tutorial I spied at the Scrapbook Trends blog on using Magic Mesh on a Christmas card.
- Not a tutorial as such, but quite a handy collection of basic tips for beginners from Paper Goodness (an ezine). Worth a read.
- If you’re interested in re-decorating your fridge this holiday season, or in some unusual gifts – you might be interested in this delightful leaf magnet tutorial by Kimber McGray at Scrapbook Cards & Today.
- Over at Raspberry, they’re showing you how to make paper angel chains. A fabulous homemade Xmas decorating idea.
- Don’t miss the tutorial over at Maya Road showing you how to make a rub-on tag using Maya Mist and a Maya damask rub-on. Interesting effect. Looks a bit like spraying onto wax or crayon.
- If you’re after further Xmas projects to do, you could try the 3D Snowflake Tutorial Cosmo Cricket has to offer. It’s beautiful. You could also make simpler ornaments if you didn’t piece together all the bits together to make the entire snowflake (yes I’m always looking for the easy way out).
- Sassafras Lass has instructions on making a 4″ high x 1″ wide mini album (pictured above). Scroll down past the food recipe to see it…if you can.
So cute. - Marks Paper Co has their own very own version of an alcohol ink tutorial. The project example is a gorgeous card.
All that is definitely going to keep me busy for a while. How about you?
