Time this week to share a few links I’ve come across in my travels…
- A newish challenge blog called Scrappers Block? (Well actually yes I have that frequently!) Their last challenge (14th June) involves using just ONE colour on a page. Think different shades and tones here. Challenges are fortnightly and are presented along with a number of example layouts from the team of resident designers.
- Pink Paislee features a tutorial on shrinking your stamps. Say what? Yep, stamp out an image, add some shrink plastic, heat…and voila…tiny cute embellishments.
- If you’re still looking for ideas for Father’s Day…
- Rusty Pickle shows off a Father’s Day card and mini album. I particularly liked the little pocket inside the card – looks like it could hold tickets or a gift card of some description.
- GCD Studios has a Father’s Day Challenge and a card example to provide inspiration. They also have a Father’s Day project for you to take a look at – a decorated photo cube.
- You might also like to review my list of Father’s Day ideas I presented earlier in the week.
- Local Aussie manufacturer, Kaisercraft, provide some tips on altering paper flowers. They suggest you focus on decorating the petals with stamping, adding rhinestones, sewing or even journalling. Check out the link for some example images.
- Wholesaler, Aussie Scrap Source, has their latest colour and word challenge (17th June). This week’s word is "know". Check out the link for the colour part of the challenge.
Until next week, enjoy.
