In Part 1 of "Pimp Your Scrapbooking Blog", I showed you how easy it was to give your blog a facelift and give it your own unique style.

Today I am going to show you a few cool things that you can add to your blog to further personalise your space.

Probably one of the most popular widgets (mini programs) for your blog is a playlist – where your blog readers can listen to the music that you like when the visit your blog! You’ve probably seen something that looks like this on a few blogs:

You can create your very own playlist for your blog at www.playlist.com and add it to your blog. Visitors to your blog can easily stop the music if they don’t like it, and can control the volume, and which songs they want to hear.

Another popular choice for blogs is a clock that tells readers what time it is in your part of the world – particularly handy if you’re running competitions, or counting down to an event! A simple google search for "free blog clocks" will bring up an infinite amount of options to choose from, however one of the best ones is ClockLink.com. You can see the wide choice available in their gallery here. There are heaps of different and interesting styles to choose from – fancy a slice of orange as your clock?

Feedjit is the place to go if you’re looking to show off the live traffic to your blog. You can get a map that shows where around the world your visitors come from, a live traffic feed to see where they came from and where they went after visiting your blog, and you can even guide your visitors to your best content!

Another popular choice with bloggers is Slide.com – a slideshow creator that lets you show off your latest creations all in the one place. You can create your own slide show here. Very easy, and you can customise to your heart’s content! Also gives you easy instructions on how to add it to your blog. If you haven’t seen these before, check them out in the sidebar of my blog here.

If you have a Blogger Blog, you will find the following Youtube demonstration very useful. It shows you how to add widgets or "Gadgets" to your blog using the blogger system. You can use the ones created by Blogger, or you can  search through thousands of gadgets created by third parties.

Have fun, and enjoy personalising your blog! :)
